My Only Treasure (Sonnet #208) Poem by Tina Baaklini

My Only Treasure (Sonnet #208)

The sky embraces its sparkling wonders
The sea carries at its heart sea creatures
The soil tightly hold roots through all weathers
Thus to my heart you're my only treasure.

I need not guess what tomorrow will be
For I sowed and watered its seeds today
Yet as long as sweet love you'll be with me
Love in the air I'll breathe along the way.

Alive my heart now feels with you within
Devoid of love, life is a forlorn shell
Void of breath, of smiles, of joy, of feelings.
Violins in your heart I hear played by angels.

We write our love on the big book of time
Hope it inspires those who read the rhymes.
