My Pain - Poem by Dottie Circeo

You hurt me
I hurt you
There's nothing you can do.
you can yell
you can scream
But ill put the knife right through you.
I saw your fear
I saw your pain
I heard your screams
But I shall not shed a tear.
Your the one that put me here
But its to late to turn it around.
If you were there
You would see
All the pain I have inside
All the torture
All the hurt
Put me in a state of confusing.
I lay awake
With the cries of pain
But yet no one seems to care.
I scream outloud
With people all around
But no one seems to hear.
You can see the pain
You can see the hurt
But you still turn away.
If you could see
The hurt in me
you would be able to hear my cries
Until that day
All you can do is turn away!
