My Palpitating Hope Poem by Nizamettin Esen Haymanali

My Palpitating Hope

Rating: 5.0

Sleeps sweetly
a diaphanous rose
white and dewy

in your beautiful hands
somnolent and silky

at the timid dawn
so blue and luminous
of your bewitching eyes
that softly charm
and warm me

and that still linger
on the purple horizon
of my palpitating hope
in my scarlet heart alone
so fragile and tender
