My love, I long to hold you and be so close to you
My heart is aching more each day, please tell me what to do
Only in my dreams at night is when we are together
And when I'm left with thoughts of you and always wondrin'
Whether all my dreaming is in vain
Or will there ever come a time, I'll feel your lips touch mine
Or feel my body close to yours, hands up and down my spine
This yearning that's from deep within, keeps burning through my soul
That only you can quench, by speaking out my name
