My Past - Poem by Jennifer Woodland
Wondering about the past makes me forget the present.
Actions from then come back to taunt me.
I would never give up what I have now
For the one smile of the past.
But then why do I keep remembering the past
When I hear a song or hear a name.
I will never leave the love of a life time
And when I hear a song memories will come
But no feeling will grow. You had your chance
Then why can't I stop thinking of you.
