few kind of pets were rear,
different features they bear.
dove-the symbol of peace,
are always at ease.
the cocktails-with lovely crown,
keep swinging their head up and down.
love birds-the colorful creatures,
better known as the love preachers.
a cute looking pair of duckling,
day long they keep on quacking.
pigeons of different colors and kind,
with each other they closely bind.
chatter box are the parrots,
fond of chillies and carrots.
the attractive colored finches,
are no bigger than few inches.
cats with thick coat of fur,
one hardly hears them purr.
and a thick coated dog loving and dear,
never allows strangers to come near.
these are the pets we rear,
which teach us to love and care.
