My Poor Broken Heart Poem by Tara Danielle Garcia

My Poor Broken Heart

Maybe it was the way you said it
or the way you walked away
Maybe it was the way it struck me
or how you had nothing left to say

I love you..how can you do this
please... just dont
just dont forget how much i loved you
cause i promise you i wont

I was supposed to love you
you were supposed to love me..
That was in the past..
its over already cant you see

How the hell can you be so straight up about this
do you even care?
to tell you the truth..not as much
dont give me that empty glare

just look me in the eyes
and say you love her more
what does it matter
he heads toward the door

please dont leave me like this
i cant go on without you...
I guess you'll have to learn..
Cause i've found someone new.

I fall to the floor after he leaves
crying in my hands
i take a few weeks worth of valiums
the cup shatters as it lands..

i watched the peices scatter around me
and i reach for the sharpest part
I hold it up to my wrist...
let myself slip away..my poor broken heart.

Your poem has alot of potential, however dear, sadly as it may, life is more precious than to through it away, did you ever think of those who do love you? Poetry like this is so frequent in todays world, disapointment and hit the knife where it will bleed is that noble? ? ? ? Bonnie

Unfortunate! That is life! Let us face it bold.
