In my world long been found
Long I kept this revered psalm
Inside me it grew abound
Yet to fool another one -
Another man, I barely know.
And so I look to this man’s eye
To plow the depth of his desire
What I saw, I have not seen
I’m afraid it’s all a dream
And in this dream, I’ll drown again.
My frequent sighs have all gathered
Gauged the mirth for truth and candid
I shall but lift remaining faith
Or opt to fall beneath thy feet
I shall look not far beyond
Tell me now if I to find,
Another man, I barely know
Will claim my world, my love, all awe
Tell me now or I shall forgo
Another man, I barely know.
