My soul is stretched,
My spirit seeks Your touch,
And I have no place to go,
But I have a palace in You,
Because You are my refuge.

Unto You I have come,
Pull me to your side,
And do not leave me by myself,
Else I am doomed.
Because You are my refuge.

Feel the beat of my repentant heart,
Break me with Your grace,
And weaken the will of my flesh,
Renew my spirit,
Because you are my refuge.

Cleanse me with Your blood,
Flood my heart with Your mercy,
And cuddle me with Your love,
Cover me with Your power,
Because You are my refuge.

Lock me in Your will,
There I will embrace joy,
And disgrace struggle,
With an obedient kick against rebellion,
Because You are my refuge.
