The Trail Of Light Poem by 'Gboyega Towobola

The Trail Of Light

The windows open,
He enters the dark rooms,
And expels darkness.
More than a ray,
He shines into my heart
With the flood of hope.
Unfolding my globe,
Into profuse revelations.
He orders my steps,
Prepares me for glory,
And doors of steel give way,
Honouring the garment of favour.
He unleashes wisdom,
And uncages insight.
Functioning in grace,
Ease is the order of the day,
Treading the stairs of purpose,
The destination is His bosom,
Where rest is eternal,
Far from the rocky wilderness,
That propels into the lake of torment,
Where wailing is eternal,
Contrast to the lush beauty,
of the palace of serenity where light if forever,
Where Light is forever.

…keep on the good works
