My Revelations Poem by Lisa Matthews

My Revelations

Rating: 0.5

I dedicate this poem to my exboyfriend Richard Steele

Never known, what love is
Never known, what love tastes like
My life is in pieces
You smile at me
I thought you didn't see
I was invisible like a tree

My heart is dead
Now it is feeling
Disn't know the truth in what you said
You were persistent
A little impatient
But you stood by me

You don't know me
But you fill me with life
Now you're wanting to see
But you don't know about
How my heart was carved out

You're making me feel
You're changing my life
You're breaking my seal
You're seeing something different
You're seeing the true me
How can you see me?
