My Reverie Poem by Lori Smith

My Reverie

Rating: 4.0

My imagination begins with anything.
One look at you; you become my reverie.
The mind paints the loveliest picture,
And feelings never felt to the degree.

A simple song of love and violin note,
Begins the romantic story of old.
The music captures the moment
But my reverie is never to be told.

Moonlight and stardust surround me,
When a loving tear fills my eye.
It isn’t enough to weave magical colors,
When the reverie passes me by
