My Road Poem by Cory Jensen

My Road

Along the lonely way
I sit back and try to enjoy the day.
No one's looking here,
This is my road
The only one I have ever known.

Nobody tries to find me
All alone, out in the cold.
Not a soul will care
It swerves and twists
Thats all that lays ahead of me.

In a perfect world
Everyone shines, a newborn star.
Look at me, and find I'm not.
Forget it, nothing can change.
Permanet stains on my heart.

A broken frame,
Hanging on wall of paintings.
I will never measure up,
My road don't follow that track,
There is nothing I can do
That can take me back.

I like this one, lots of meaning and a lot of people can relate to this. Got to go on no mater what. I really like it.
