My Sad Fairy Of The Night Poem by Jenna Wolf

My Sad Fairy Of The Night

Rating: 5.0

She spreads her wings by the first signs of night
Lo' and behold a strange and mesmerizing sight
Her silky wings glow in the moonlit sky
Surely any man who lookith upon her would turn to stone and die

Her body glistens and shudders in the light misty breeze
Long raven hair cascading down her body with ease
Ivory skin travels taught over her firm breasts
through a mass of curls becomes visible two golden crests

With swaying hips and lips blooming like peach-blossoms in spring, she is devine
Unmatched by another - every man's unattainble shrine

She bewitches and may place a spell on you
Her willing puppet you could become before the night is through
Yet she lingers in sin
a heartbreaking melody flows from within

Her green cat's eyes are hooded and brimming with dismay
For all her beauty - what a price to pay!
I must leave and she is yet again alone - left only with her dreams...
and a sad reflection in the stream.

An interesting well crafted poem on a fairy, beautiful but sad.
