a void in time....
this sadness of mine...
feeling I don't belong....
believing I am alone...

then your touch.....
that intoxicates me much....
a feeling of bliss....
something that i've missed...

falling fast...
i said he was my last.....
until you came along.....
and proved me not that strong....

but i must get a grip....
somehow i must not trip...
can't fall in love again...
drench myself under the rain....

but how can this be wrong....
when you speak i hear this song...
the one that comforts all my pain...
bids my fears subside and wane....
