My Scar - Poem by Katherine Bryce

'I'm sorry for everything,
I'll take the blame,
I'll take it all,
even the pain.'

Do you remember,
when I told you this,
I guess I was just an object,
that you wouldn't miss.

When I see you,
It breaks my heart,
know that you wanted,
for us to part.

I won't lie,
I truly miss you,
for all you were,
and all you used to do.

I don't like,
who you are,
this new you,
gave me my scar.
