My Secret Music Poem by Luz EtchemendiGaray

My Secret Music

I have written your name on the hem of my gown,
on my skin, on my ankle,
and when I whirl in the wildness of a dance,
I find in myself a secret music
that makes every particle
of my body explode,
that calls of you,
and waits for you this morning.
