My Sin - Poem by clay scott
pain its like the sound of rain
tears fall hidden from it all
shadows move like demons
here i stand in the depths as they deepen
a man so empty but full of sin
where does this hell end
i lost all feeling i inflict pain
its all i see the only emotion i feel
its like bliss when i bleed
so many things i can't see
broken on bended knee
how do i escape deeper into the dark
i see angels with broken hearts
they watch over me
so tired of my world they've all fell
protecting me from this hell
sorrow i taste as it falls from their eyes
these are the things i hide
a simple man burning inside
