My Son - Poem by Chrissie Scriven

Bird's are chirping all day long.
I sit there listening to their song,
The sun's come out, the cloud's disappear
I can't believe I'm really here.
You brighten my day's whether rain or shine
I can't believe you're really mine.
My past life forgotten, the pain pushed away,
You're the one who makes me feel ok,
I'll always protect you in all that you do
I'm feeling alive and free my son so thank you
