My Space Poem by Subarna Chakraborty

My Space

I ended before beginning,
Before a new story grows,
As heaven knows,
No new story worth the race
Can compare to my own space.

Although I know it's an end,
The ending feels more like
Sitting in a theatre even when the curtain falls,
Right after an onstage figure crawls.

Not a perfect day or time,
I draw an absolute line
Around myself, preserving the grace,
As I already fell for my space.
