My Stay, My Grieve Poem by Natasha Andeyi

My Stay, My Grieve

Rating: 5.0

Seen. Heard. Observed. Learned.
Action over time.
The best in me, the qualities I've earned.
My best I gave, your return was lime.

Party nation. A citizen by conduct.
Dawdling your preference, forgetting my existence,
Your habit by conscious construct.
Prolonging like some addiction, despite my insistence.

You're a drug. I was intoxicated.
Time there is for everything,
Now it is to be clear headed.
Your actions affirming my worth to nothing.

Words you give, soothing indeed.
Making me contemplate my leave.
Not that leaving you is a need,
But should I stay, then a need there is to grieve.
