you are my sunshine my only sunshine u make me happy when skies are gray you'll never know dear how much i'll miss u if you take my sunshine away

You, you are the gleam in my eyes
the ketchup on my fries
the truth behind my lies
and the sun as it begins to rise

how was i 2 know?
my feelings toward u would grow
but deny them you did
so it was the broken heart i hid
i faked like i was over you and for a while i even fooled my self
but, beginning to love you was something i couldnt help
and remembering all the tymes we spent together
and how in my heart i promised 2 make u mine 4ever
there are times thinking of you takes my breath away
how could you blame me for ever being afraid?
I wish you could forgive me 4 not telling you from the start
the feelings i had for you deep within my heart
and sometimes i dream of what could happen if we were 2gether
when you would accept me with open arms life would be better
the song may go 'you are my sunshine'
but best believe it, it ain't for the sake of this rhyme
you truly are my sunshine
i know the second you notice that everything would be fine
and i ant help but to miss you
and i hope deep in ya heart you miss me too!
but, i see that wont happen and that's fine
