Somalia Forever My Country

my heart goes out to my country
somalia thats her name
watever thats happening there let me assure you
it aint a game
many years have been lost
many wars have been fought many tears cried many people died
many kids dont live to see another day
there mothers arent there to tell them its o.k.
pictures of tiny children walking around with AK-47's
pictures of a father burying his child before the child hit 11
families wonder wat life's like without war
wat life's like without gunshots, bloodshed banging of the doors
they wonder if they'll die 2nite they'll sure as hell put up a fight
cuz they're not gonna die easy
knowing there baby's all alone no food no home
with no one to call they're own
no family, no brother, no sister, dad, or mother
and as they lie all by themselves with no one 2 call for help
they'll grow and mature to understand.
the history of his motherland
all the struggles and pain she's been thru
hurt her more is 1 thing he wont do
just appreciate her and what she's done
in his heart somalia is 1#
somalia is like a diamond in the rough
finding her beauty is now very tough
