My Teacher
My teacher
Admire the changes
Cave to farm
Then to town
Walk to ride
On donkey, horse
to breeding mule and
Camel, elephant to Lama
Then cart and chariot
To bike, car, and plane
Stone-light to bush-wood
For fire; river bathe to shower
To today and clone; on the moon
…
Yet…still
Dog tells me:
"Nature is far better and wiser, "
When rolling in snow knowing why
But do I?
