My Teaching Philosophy Poem by Ailbhe Eighteen

My Teaching Philosophy

To go to school and bring the tool,
Ending the uncanny sense and filling the child's can;
Always be the guide and sage emulating;
Calling students to vicarious and direct learning,
Hail to thee, noble educator,
Inculcating trends and drifts to lessons;
Not getting tired but getting inspired;
Giving one's self away to illuminate the abyss of young minds

Prometheus in like and Athena whose wise,
Hovering to hone critical thinking and content mastery;
Including everyone to belong and behold;
Leaving violence and harm behind;
Opting to create an atmosphere of warmth and fun;
Selecting a chronicle to last up to dust;
Orchestrating a vivid portrait of a committed teacher;
Prompting forgotten dreams to resuscitate,
Hat trick to build a new and better world,
Yuppified for the generations to come.
