Naught Poem by Ailbhe Eighteen

Naught

Rating: 5.0

She was my friend but I was not her friend
I gaped at her and she faded away
I gazed at her and she looked away
I walked by her side but she stride alone
Saying, ''one day more''
One day more and she's gone
Off up above with the heaven's seraphs

Though, initially, it seems a one sided affair but it develops into a bond which is much higher, ageless, timeless and purely spiritual. Thanks for sharing this amazing poem.
