My Temptations Poem by Baby Thomas Mangat

My Temptations

Today, sitting alone in my courtyard
Desperately, I realize that I have lost myself
I very well see the wild flowers and bushes
Swinging in the wind around my old house

My great desire to make a coming back
My passion to rediscover myself everywhere
My temptation to cross the boundary of my mortality
All lies in this shattered and broken heart of loneliness

I can see my dreams hang at the edges of the sky
Where the fading sun kisses the darling earth
Like snow flake tickles the wounded spirits
Emptiness tickles me over and again to put me to sleep

When the misty wind brings down the darkness
My tiered little eyes look to the passing clouds
To search in vain the twinkling stars behind
To find my own self some where shining like a star
