everyday
a million things
roll through my brain
recollections of actions
review of overview
but especially the
next time i get to
see you

there are so many ways that
you are wrong
you do not fit the mold
you do not try

it makes me think
of just exactly why
i would not want this
to me youre not worth
all that wondering
i want something official

but then i remember how
i get through my days
seeing you
feeling you
being right next to you

and then i am
and there are no thoughts
and elation pumps through my body
this is what gets me through;
our mismatched perfect fit
