My Tragedy Poem by Montaha Gasir

My Tragedy

You built me up and gave me hope.
Told me in this world, I can cope.
I thought you were my building blocks,
But you were poison, My Pandora's Box.

With you, is all I wanted to be.
In your loving arms, eternally free.
But my fragile heart, you recklessly dangle.
I'm forever lost in you, My Bermuda Triangle.

You brought me happiness and joy.
Your pure feelings, a candid coy.
Tricked to fall into the endless abyss.
For you let us sink, My Atlantis.

Being with you felt like a dream.
A beautiful life, is what it seem.
But the honest reality no more than agony.
You were my gift, and My ultimate Tragedy.
