Heart On My Sleeve Poem by Montaha Gasir

Heart On My Sleeve

I go through the motions,
Of raging oceans.
Trying to deal,
With tumbling emotions.

By feelings, I drown.
Down and down.
Everyday spinning,
Round and round.

Sadness or glee.
Heart on my sleeve.
My emotions you see.
Don't patronise me.

With sentiments, I'm bound.
The strongest crowned.
Free will broken,
Laying on the ground.

I have a question,
A minor discretion.
What will it be,
Mania or depression?

Sadness or glee.
Heart on my sleeve.
My emotions you see.
Don't patronise me.
