My Travels Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

My Travels

I've traveled far on this Earth.
Soaring high above It's face.
Seeing every plane as a pore
Every river a vein
And every road a paved wrinkle.
I've seen this Earth think.
The clouds are It's brain,
Smoothly folded across the lands and sea,
Seeing them form and rise into
Complex thought as they are spoken
Through rain and thunder.
I've seen lands I could only dream about.
Filled to the brim with Culture
and Historical Pride leaving me
Like a happy puppy dog in a new home.
Good-Bye Killarney
Adeu Welsh Mountains
Farewell Edinburgh
Peace Out London Underground
You will all be missed.
