I found my first love
The day after Christmas.
Curves like forest paths
And symmetrical like Gemini,
Rich in voice
Yet delicate in sound.
Oh,
The songs we’ll hear
And the songs we’ll play;
I’ll love you until I no longer
Need you
Because I’m fickle and bore easily
And am young and have no
Sense in value.
One day, I hope,
We’ll reacquaint ourselves
And forget why we parted ways,
Holding no grudge
But instead
Each other.
