Everyone knows this secret except for you
And I wanted you to know this truth and not everyone
Even thou they know it they cannot take it
But I think you know my secret

Or is it our secret that you know my secret
I know you have asked me without asking
And I have told you without telling you
This is what I keep inside for you

My truth is my secret
What I do not tell you is that I would die before I hurt you
It is why I keep it to myself
For they say love hurts
