My Turn To Say Goodbye Poem by Hailey Agnew

My Turn To Say Goodbye

So scared was I,
You knew the way.
You told me you,
Were here to stay.
But then you left,
And I was lost.
Lost without you,
In the frost.
But one day I regained control,
I found myself,
I was not whole.
And one day,
You came back.
You were not prepared,
To pick up your slack.
You said you loved me,
And wanted me back.
But I had found myself,
Just in time,
To see through your act,
With some work I'll be fine.
And now you say,
That your sorry.
That other girl,
Was so lonely.
But I'm not stupid,
And I didn't buy it.
I left you now,
All alone and broken.
It was my turn to live,
My turn to thrive.
My turn to kill someone,
While I was alive.
My turn to say the words,
I'm not sorry, Good Bye.
