My Ultimate Love - Poem by SREEJITH KULAPARAMBIL
When the thoughts wander to search for you
I simply close my eyes
The string of thoughts ceases to exist
And I see you live and bright!
No moment passes without you,
Thoughts of you never leave my mind
Oh! My beloved, when I am in you and you in me,
Where the question of forgetting you arise
I venerate you as my mentor
I adore you as my dame
I seek you as my kin and friend
You are within me as a flame.
Pour me your wine, oh! Divine!
Let me drink and dance
I am swaying ecstatically in your love
I wish to remain eternally in this trance
You are the essence of this universe
You are the life’s ultimate verse
I long nothing but to bow before this grace
And sing hymns and dance in your praise.
