My Unanswered Prayers Poem by Alfred Kumar

My Unanswered Prayers

I asked thee oh almighty
To dwell in abode of serene solitude

I asked Thee Oh almighty
To sing along Blossoms grown in multitude

I asked Thee Oh Almighty
To guard my heart from anxiety and fear

I asked thee Oh Almighty
To always be with me very near

I asked thee Oh Almighty
To fill my heart with peace

I asked thee Oh Almighty
For the suffrings of men to cease

I asked thee Oh Almighty
To smile from depth of my soul

I asked Thee Oh Almighty
The strength to climb all goals

I asked Thee Oh Almighty
A bright day filled with Hope

I asked thee Oh Almighty
To sleep in peace under the curtain of moonlight

I asked the Oh Almighty
For a friend, with whom all emptions I can share

I asked thee Oh Almighty
For someone whose arms are streached with Love

I asked for a life filled with peace
This is all, nothing more I seek

But in tears I cried out to god
Why shall not you grant what I ask
Why you make me walk on path full of thorns

Alone I walk, alone I weep
Alone I fall, alone I rise again

I asked thee Oh Almighty
Reason for my prayers went UN Answered

All I wished for, I dint get
Atlast, filled with sorrow I ask for Death
Give me Death God, Oh Grant me that Peace Eternal
