My Undoing Poem by Ray Hansell

My Undoing

I once thought I knew love
But for reasons unknown
I let it slip away
I guess you could say I haven't grown

At times love is difficult
Other times quite confusing
But it always seems to me
I found it all so amusing

Just when I felt I had it all
Suddenly, things start to unwind
There I stood once again
Hoping love one day I'll find

But finding a lasting love
Can be a long road to travel
But recently I've come to the conclusion
Sometimes finding love is a losing battle
