Torcher me not unkind friend. You seem always at my side, then disappear when I cry. Why let me linger in sadness? Why watch my pain? There are so many others that can play your games. Is this pain for redemption? A sin I do not know. Why do you take my past and leave me here alone. I have no emotion left for you. No tears left to cry. My life is now an empty void with this humiliation to hide. You seem to leave me in the darkness as I watch my friends go home. Left behind to be alone no one familiar no one known. Always having to start anew. Then losing all and seeing you. Why are we in this dance? When will it be my chance? Take me now or leave me alone. This request to you be known. For this is the last time I sing this song. No more to you will I belong
