My Vacation Home! Poem by Guneev Kaur

My Vacation Home!

Rating: 5.0

More than a Xanadu,
Yet way better than it.
A sleek paradise,
Yet way better than it.
A divine heaven,
Yet way better than it.

A place which calls myself,
That one so uniquely bound.
Made with bricks of serenity,
Cement coated with tons of dignity.
Calmness is one of its stones,
Ironically it's not always chockablocked.

With no boundaries,
Yet gallons of dignitaries.
Of those powerful wings,
To raise there, high above.
Where the sky awaits,
"You're a star, you've won! "

That's such a place,
Where I don't spot those tears of sweat.
Not mine ofc,
Yet of such those, who're being used.
Equality's is the land's constitution name,
Soberness a fluent language.

My Vacation Home,
Is not around the posh streets.
Yet might along that shore,
Where the breezes are set free.
Low and high aren't their categories,
Yet symbolism.

My Vacation Home,
Is somewhere too deep to reckon.
