My Way
They all ask me why I'm so.
Indifferent to heaven and hell,
But when you've lived through both,
Life and love pulling me through,
Journeying on the whims of the winds.
My journey at odds with life,
Knowing the hell of a broken heart,
The heaven of a good women's love,
Forever torn between two worlds,
The heart and soul of a poet but no skill.
Knowing my destiny and fate,
A man who was never as great as he should be,
Distracted by life and love,
My gaze diverted by slim waists,
That's why I'm so indifferent to heaven and hell.

A very pleasant read, sad though your travels along your way - or many ways.10+
