My Wife

I'VE BEEN FRUSTRATED FOR A LONG TIME
DIDN'T HAVE WHAT I THOUGHT WAS MINE
WAS IT EVERYONE ELSE OR WAS IT ME
DID LIFE NOT WANT ME HAPPY TO BE?

WAS IT ME DID I DO WRONG?
WHAT I SEEK, DOES IT TO ME NOT BELONG
EVERY DAY THE HURT WAS GROWING
BUT TRUE LOVE KEPT ME GOING

FINALLY GOOD TIMES SMILED AT ME
AND DECIDED TO MAKE ME HAPPY
AT LAST I FOUND COMPLETION IN LIFE
MY LONGTIME DESIRE BECAME MY WIFE

EVENTHOUGH SOMETIMES WE FIGHT
IN THE DARKNESS SHE'S STILL MY LIGHT
FOR HER I WOULD SURELY WALK THE WIRE
BECAUSE HER LOVE FEEDS MY FIRE
