My Wish Poem by Kishore Asthana

My Wish

Where fact and fantasy mix and swirl
Life and destiny, like ruby and pearl
May adorn you and unfurl
Their banner for your every work

Where hate and strife act and lurk
And cruel fate is Devil's clerk
May they forget and shirk
Their duty when they come to you

May you know the false from true
May peace and prosperity arise anew
After minor trials, far and few
In a journey smooth from here to there

And when you reach that world fair
Where love and love fill the air
May you know me as one dear
Beyond words, in a life gone by
