My Zoraida Poem by Carlos Sanz Astudillo

My Zoraida

May the red thread of destiny bind me to her.

May it be entangled in her angel's face, in that smile that promises comfort.

May I embrace her coal hair, dark abyss where my soul finds refuge, and that raincoat, light armor of her enchanted mystery.

My Zoraida.
