Myopia Poem by Sunday Champion

Myopia

What a story I must tell!
Look at the world
that condemned me!
They predicted me a sloppy, sluggish boy that will end up a nobody
Look now!
A Lilly has been made out of a valley
Look at the sun that has shines out of a total darkness
Look at the rootless shoot  that has turned into a mighty tree
Where the sparrows lies together for shelter and for wisdom
Look at the butterfly that has grow out of it's cocoon
look at the condemned..............
grown to be the greatest of all
Is it not obvious?
I could not defend my self for being sluggish,
Because I Was really it
But the were myopia
They never new I was under process.
Can a sun be covered from shining?
Can an ocean be stopped from flowing
Neither can be destiny be hindered
weakness can't stop me
I have been made an ever shining sun
to burn through weakness and circumstance
Look at men's prediction chart
To you they might have cursed
They predicted the wrong person
They might have called you lazy
They might have cut you short of your great destiny
That should not stop you!
What they say is only a mere prediction
a fact but not a true
Tell the world they were wrong about you
You can re-write history....
If I could,
Then you can!
