Myself Poem by Ahatisham Alam

Myself

What this world says I don't care.
What I am, perhaps not aware.
I realize to show my dare.
And achieve the goal which is rare.

They are sick who find me isolated.
They are ignorant who consider me delighted.
I have watched my burning pyre.
There is nothing but pure fire.

O Light! Let me awake in myself.
Show me the way to deleverence.
I want to dissolve my soul,
In Thy service, to pay my reverence.
