Naïve Poem by Cleo Blue

Naïve

I thought you had wisdom,
But all you have are lies.
And i bought into every one,
Every time i looked into your eyes.
I guess i was to naïve,
To admit you were the reason behind my cries.

I didnt want to tell myself,
That i was wrong.
I didnt want to admit,
That i wasn't strong.

I was to naïve,
For my own good;
I should have stood up,
And walked away while i could.

I was to naïve
For my own good.
I should have walked away,
I should've ran while could.
