Narcissus Poem by Sydney Hatch

Narcissus

Nae is thee who naught doest seek
Airy fields of self to see
Rarefied in sensual attire
Cicero in eloquent words of fire
Inked in pen ones earthly dire
Sinews tensed to excite others thirst
Seething passions alight thy girth
Unimpressed by others mirth
Siren to exploit nature's worth
