You have to be alone
to know the unknown
to hear the unheard
to leap to life eternal.

How splendorous
this luminous
this dark mysterious

These paintings:
the sunrise and the sunset
every shade of dusk and dawn
on the eternity’s canvas

How ravishing:
gradual reddening of the horizon’s
rim of the sky
its bursting into a million ripples

How wondrous
the musical sing of the mosaic
of its multi-coloured sheen!

The Immanent Presence
shaping innumerable orders of existence
binding them all in a rhythm of resonance

Designing and directing the creation’s dance
the ethereal choreography of starry romance
the splendour of the night sky
the beauty and order of racing galaxies

On all its voyages it goes utterly alone
setting the schedule all its own
its flights are always on time
despite hurricanes and cyclones

Serene in all the nature’s fury:
blowing blizzards and storms
in the maddening ocean roar
holding the mane of the howling tides

In and out of heaven in unearthly hours it runs
timed to galaxied processions
no error, no slur, no blur
from conception to execution
gaze fixed forever on the destination

The veteran voyager
adept in science of navigation
knows when to launch the ship
how timely turn the rebellions tide!

Hidden in the heart of hoary time
the marching files of men and women
step in unison with the mighty migrations
from the frozen homes to the hospitable climes

One by one they all spring to their feet
their rhythmic steps chiming to beat
their passionate kisses
from its aeonic sleep awaken
the listless lizard in the night of passivity.

Light the kinetic charge
in placid waters
kick up cataclysms in slumbering deep
where countless cosmoses sleep

See this mummery of the proto-man
the fossil of aeonic time!
what beauty, what majesty,
what body proportion, what perfection!
how on the bed of eternity peacefully it lies
embalmed in nature’s timeless museum!
