Nature's Medicine Poem by Annalee Somerville

Nature's Medicine

Sitting in a meadow,
Where wildflowers grow,
Oh, how the sweet aroma,
Purifies my soul.

Behind me in the woods,
I hear the interconnectedness of life,
Swaying trees and chirping birds,
Gentle footsteps of the wildlife

Water slowly rippling down
the rocks in a stream,
If you close your eyes,
You'll sail away in a dream.

Sail through your open mind,
Chart an unseen course,
Shed all the guilt and pain
Self-doubt and others remorse.

The wind picked up
And comforted my soul,
Like floating in clouds,
No bounds as the sky is home.
