Natures Republic Parade Poem by Rajagopalan Kumar

Natures Republic Parade

Down the Royal paths of the sky to yonder hills
Lit by the setting sun in twilight colors so gay
Fleet of birds fly past showing wonder aero skills
A colorful pageantry in the sky at end of day.

From the uphill meadows along the village stream
Lit all along by the evening sun in golden green
A uniformed contingent herd in black and browns
Tuned to their necktie bells, retreat along the downs.

Amidst the whistle song of the midnight wind
Amidst the rhythm of distant thunder drums
Myriad starry twinkling fireworks light the night
Nature's Beating Retreat, delight to the poetic sight.
